As a Volunteer Front Desk Receptionist at Mercy Center for Women, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff members. Your role will be essential in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient communication within the organization.

Time Commitment: One shift per week, 3-4 hours per shift in the morning or afternoon. General hours are 9am to 4pm.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using office equipment, such as a telephone system, computer, printer, and photocopier.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to fulfilling the assigned schedule.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles is preferred but not required.
Ability to pass the following background checks for the safety and confidentiality of the clients: Volunteer FBI Criminal History Clearance (w/fingerprinting), Volunteer PA Child Abuse History Certification, and Volunteer PA State Police Criminal Record Check.
